Victoria's Secret

Yesterday I was at Victoria's Secret and I got some yoga pants, sweat pants and sweatshirts. I love the sweats and yoga pants there. SO comfy. They were also giving out "supermodel beauty bags" with a purchase of $75 or more! I love mine, holds so much.

Bag Essentials

L.L.Bean Vs. Scout
I love L.L.Bean and Scout for bags. It's hard to decide which to use most times. I use my smaller scout bag for school, to use from class to class. They don't seem to durable but trust me, they carry SO much. The L.L.Bean boat and tote is good for school too, I see a lot of girls carrying those bags from class to class. I have a large blue one with my name on it. I'm sort of in love. The large carries virtually everything. It's good for a weekend away, going to the beach/pool, tailgating, etc. If voting between L.L.Bean and Scout for bags, I would have to vote both. L.L.Bean also lets you monogram and have your name put on all the bags you order. You can also customize the colors! Planning your getaway?

My family is going down to Vero Beach, FL. I plan to go to the lilly store, get back as much of my summer tan as possible, use beach time as an excuse to get some new jacks, and restore my energy from a busy start of the school year. Have any nice thanksgiving plans? I'm just counting down the days. That feeling when you slip on a summer Lilly dress and some jacks after bundling up in the cold feels extremely nice.

SHORT CUTS

Lately everyone has been chopping their hair off. And strangely...I like it. I have come to the conclusion that short hair is preppier and easier to take care of. "Long hair she don't care" yeah, yuck. I had hair about eight inches past my shoulders and I just got tired of it. I went to my local hair dresser and she fixed me right up(: Also, long hair seems to get in the way of scarves(one of my favorite winter accessories!). If you have really long hair, I think that trend is going out of style... TREND ALERT: layers are in. How do you wear your hair? What are your fav winter styles?

Winter Weight Gain

Any cute winter sports?

During the winter I probably gain about 6 lbs. It's so annoying. I do not play a winter sport simply because none of them interest me. I go for the preppy sports like field hockey, tennis, golf, lacrosse, ect. My school offers things like basketball in the winter. First of all, basketball is way too much contact for me, and the outfits just are not cute. I try to workout at the gym and jog around the block but it's not the same as being committed to having to practice everyday. What probably gets me is the huge thanksgiving feasts, christmas chocolates and all that hot chocolate.

With Winter comes Uggs

I used to always think that Uggs were named after the sound a guy would make when he saw a girl wearing them, "Ugh". When I got my first pair, my opinion quickly changed about these ugly boots. Despite the way they look, they are so comfy you almost feel like you are wearing clouds on your feet. After owning uggs for a week or so, you basically convince yourself that they are attractive enough to wear out of the house because you love them so much. I am now guilty of owning three pairs. With winter coming quickly around the corner, the streets are infested with uggs! More people get sucked into this trend each year. Well, if your going to invest in some cozy winter shoes this year, uggs are your best bet! Happy "ugh"ing(:

Lilly Pulitzer Agenda

I'm one of those people who love to be organized...

Weather it comes to jotting down homework, plans, or phone numbers, I have to have it all in one place. Without a solid agenda/planner where I can keep all my plans and thoughts, I feel lost and scattered. At the beginning of this school year I bought my perfect agenda, made by Lilly Pulitzer! These are colorful, inspiring, and organized with places for your notes, phone numbers, addresses, and all your plans! It's not to late to pick one up. These guys last from Aug.2011 to Dec.2012.
